CNC Machinist/Operator - 1st & 2nd Shifts

Brinkman Precision, Inc., a well-established Rochester, NY based precision machining manufacturer is searching for CNC Machinists on 1st & 2nd shifts who possess a variety of skills. We offer a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Primary responsibilities include setup (multi spindle or single spindle) and operations of CNC machines (milling, lathe, turning, grinding, Swiss, etc.)
• Setup, operation, and some machine troubleshooting
• High attention to detail and documentation

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proficient in CNC machining, understanding of blue prints and GD&T.
• Capable of setting up repeat jobs as well as new jobs and prototype development
• Program writing or editing is desirable
• Understanding of tooling, part processing and inspection of parts
• Ability to work well under pressure, to adhere to deadlines and the ability to be flexible
• Ability to operate assigned equipment safely and efficiently
• Ability to take direction very well and get along with others
• Outstanding punctuality and attendance
• High School Diploma or GED
• Prior CNC Machinist experience preferred, minimum of 3 years
