Oracle QA Manager-ProdDev in Philippines

Job Description

Responsible for a team that develops, applies and maintains quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.

As a manager in the technical/process QA division, you will lead a team that designs, installs and evaluates quality control methods and systems. You will also develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance and methods.

Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas of sections. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet business needs. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

Responsible for leading the team that performs testing of NSGBU's internal copies of NetSuite, and the customizations and changes to the platform the rest of the NetSuite on NetSuite team creates. It will advise on overall quality assurance strategy, recommend adoption of new tools, and drive the team goals of this small dedicated QA team.

Familiarity with NetSuite, agile methodologies, and test automation is highly relevant but not required. Familiarity with testing on other SAAS or cloud platforms is also ben

Responsibilities

Qualifications :

  • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent

  • 5+ years of work experience

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience QA

  • Experience with various automation frameworks (e.g. JUnit)

  • Firm grasp of testing tools and methodologies

  • Excellent leadership skills and ability to influence

  • Excellent collaboration skills

  • Excellent communicator in both technical and non-technical contexts

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to abstract functional requirements

  • Experience coaching and mentoring
