    Overview

    The Compensation Analyst will analyze and maintain the integrity of the company’s employee compensation plans and job descriptions.

    What you will need

  • Be a minimum of 21 years of age.

  • Extensive knowledge of Human Resource laws, regulations, and best practices.

  • 3-5 years of compensation experience.

    How you will make an impact

  • Prepares and maintains job descriptions for each position in the organization; ensures descriptions accurately reflect the work being performed.

  • Interviews and surveys employees and managers to gather and document job, organizational, and occupational information including duties, responsibilities, and skills required by each job.

  • Assesses jobs and their respective duties to determine classification as exempt or nonexempt and appropriate salary range.

  • Benchmark jobs against industry peers and other market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges for each position.

  • Prepares and presents summary reports of job analysis and compensation analysis information.

  • Gathers data from market-based compensation surveys; uses spreadsheet and data analysis techniques to assess results and market trends.

  • Plans and communicates preferred methods and best practices for compensation and evaluating employees. 

  • Provide ongoing analysis to ensure employee compensation is accurate in the HRIS platform. 

  • Perform maintenance and analysis of the company’s payscales and salaries to ensure they comply with all laws and regulations.
