DESCRIPTION OF WORK The employee in this role is tasked with suggesting work assignments and vocational/technical training to create and implement personalized treatment plans for inmates, overseeing Corrections Employment and Vocational Assistants and clerical staff. The job involves coordinating inmate workers to meet facility needs, addressing issues related to job placement, and proposing new inmate jobs and pay scales to support facility activities and occupational requirements. Additionally, the role includes managing the facility's inmate payroll and compensation system in compliance with agency policies, with performance reviewed by an administrative supervisor.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Two years of experience as a Corrections Employment and Vocational Assistant; or Two years of para-professional experience in obtaining and evaluating vocational or employment information; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
