Schluter Systems Lp/UMS Manufacturing Business Process Modeler in Plattsburgh, New York

The Business Process Modeler is part of the Enterprise Configuration Team within Corporate Development. Corporate Development supports the Schluter group of companies in the realization of change initiatives which reinforce the corporate vision and continued development of the company.

The Business Process Modeler will support the development and review of process models to assist process management and Business Process Analysts with business improvements that support the strategic goals of the organization.

Primary Responsibilities:

-Engage with subject matter experts from the business to review process models and collect process related information. -Model business processes that conform to the Process Architecture and model quality standards. -Provide quality checks and peer reviews to ensure process models conform to the Process Architecture and model quality standards. -Support Enterprise Architect and Business Process Analysts with analysis of existing processes and development of optimization potential. -Assist with process improvement projects and process related changes to the business. -Provides support for process management as required. -Supports the business with process discovery and development. -Organization and execution of process modeling workshops and trainings. -Support the business in ensuring the proper maintenance of the business configuration model and process documentation. -Work with management to develop and review process performance. -Support the business with continued refinement of process documentation. -Additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements B.A. Degree in a relevant field Proficiency in MS Office Applications

3-5 years of professional experience in business process modeling Minimum of 3 years of experience with the practical application of BPMN 2.0 Experience with the use of modelling tools (e.g. ARIS, Camunda-Modeler, TopEase) Demonstrate experience with Agile ways of working (LEAN, Six Sigma and/or Scrum certifications considered an asset) Experience managing competing priorities in a business environment. Knowledge in the field of automation technologies is considered an asset. Strong analytical and conceptual strength Strong verbal and written communication skills, including tact in dealing with people in change processes. Ability to lead, communicate, engage, and encourage others to participate in change initiatives and standard process procedures. Some international travel may be required, and candidates should possess a valid U.S. Passport Willingness to comply with all company policies Represent Schluter Systems L.P. in a professional, positive and enthusiastic manner in all matters English language skills (writing), German language skills advantageous but not required
