One of our clients in the North Charleston area is looking or an I.T. Support Technician to join their team. This candidate will be expose to an environment that will allow continuous development of their I.T. skills and the ability to work with a long standing leader in their industry. Description:

Our client has an emphasis on industrial, concrete, sitework, and utility contracting. They have constructed many projects from roadways and utilities to mass pour foundations. The company is proud of its safety record and commits to giving every project the quality, attention to detail, and consideration of budgets that its clients deserve.

Day to day: All duties will be taught and will be under the direction of a supervisor-there will be a slow ramp-up to ensure this person knows and feels comfortable in the job. 50% of the time this person will be utilizing a company truck to get around and update all firmware on current equipment. This person will be doing measuring with the equipment, turning bolts--this person will get dirty! The other 50% of the time will be researching around upcoming changes to equipment, learning more about drones as these will be involved soon with equipment etc. This person must be interested in computers and how they connect and run equipment as well as comfortable with getting dirty, turning wrenches, climbing under machinery and even driving the machines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

The manager expects this person will come with ZERO knowledge thus he needs them to be naturally curious--someone who is eager to do their homework and continuously learn.

This person needs to be someone that works until the job is done vs. someone who counts down until "punch-out" time for the day.

Math skills a plus as this person will be taught how to do surface models--feeding information into the machines on the backend.

Experience Installing Trimble based android control systems a plus.
