Amazon Partner Development Specialist – End User Apps Partners, Products & Services COE in London, United Kingdom

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a world class partner and alliance leader to join the Cloud Foundations and Advanced Services (CFAS) Partner team.

As an End User Apps Partner Development Specialist, you will have the exciting opportunity to accelerate adoption of AWS through end user applications running on AWS built by AWS partners. Activities include building C-level relationships with our partners, constructing and managing joint get-to-market and go-to-market plans and working collaboratively with AWS Partner Development Managers to execute. You will be responsible for driving top line AWS revenue growth and overall market adoption of the partner solutions that utilize AWS services for EMEA. You will work closely with AWS’ WW Specialist Organization (WWSO), Service Teams, Partner managers, solution architects, sales, product, and marketing across all partner types (systems integrators, ISVs, distribution/resell), and manage business reporting for partner activity related to AWS’ end user application services including the End User Computing (EUC) service portfolio and Amazon Q.

The ideal candidate will possess a background in alliance management to drive successful partnerships, engage with the C-suite, as well as a sales or business development background to execute on joint marketing and sales activities across the partner and AWS field teams. The ideal candidate also possesses a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges. Working knowledge of cloud is preferred.

Key job responsibilities

• Own the route to market execution, optimization for end-user applications built by AWS Partners running on AWS adopted by customers in EMEA

• Drive partner sales of AWS’ end-user application services including EUC services through collaboration with other AWS teams for regular pipeline, opportunity registration and business reviews with partners to manage progress against the strategic business plan

• Identify and engage priority EMEA partners’ field sales organizations, channels and end customers to create and drive AWS EUC service revenue opportunities

• Drive Partner pipeline and customer wins through focused sales plays, GTMs, and campaigns

• Understand Partner strategy and help build and drive go to market initiatives to support differentiation, customer wins, and market success

• Triangulate on strategic deals with the AWS sales, WW specialist sales, Partner teams, and AWS ProServe

• Prepare and deliver business reviews to AWS and partner senior leaders including business metrics, goal achievements, and overall health of business

• Travel up to 25%

• Position can be located anywhere in EMEA with preference in UK, DEU, LUX

Basic Qualifications

  • Extensive sales, business development, or alliance management experience in the software/technology industry, including Cloud/Software as a Service or related technical paradigms

  • Experience authoring and scaling sales enablement materials to internal and external stakeholders

  • Experience engaging senior executives and experience with decision making processes

  • Organizational skills and attention to detail with experience setting clear priorities in a fast paced, dynamic work environment

  • Experience engaging with C-level executives

  • Experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders and cross functional teams including direct and channel marketing, solution architect teams, and account management teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience presenting to all levels of an organization

  • Understanding of cloud infrastructure and AWS EUC Services; Amazon Q; Certified Cloud Practitioner a plus

  • Demonstrated results in achieving sales, business, development, or alliance management goals against annual growth targets

  • Verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.

  • Knowledge of Virtual Desktop, application streaming, and secure web products
