Microsoft Corporation Senior Program Manager in Hyderabad, India

Microsoft’s Cloud business is experiencing explosive growth, and the Cloud Supply Chain (CSCP) organization is responsible for enabling the infrastructure underlying this growth. Our mission is to deliver the world’s computer with an industry-leading supply chain. CSCP is responsible for strategic sourcing, customer demand forecasting, capacity planning and management, supply chain planning and execution, capacity provisioning, and decommissioning and dispositioning of datacenter assets worldwide.

We are looking for a Senior Program Manager for our Cloud Supply Chain Transformation organization. This role is an individual contributor, but with a responsibility to influence, plan, execute, and report up to our Supply Chain Executive leadership. The PM will manage CSCP Data Quality and Governance roadmap, Collaborates with workstream stakeholders to align, refine, and streamline program intake. Leverages knowledge related to data analytics, supply chain and ERP to development of data measurement mechanisms and executive scorecards and communications. Identifies and recommends solutions for data quality that reduce operational inefficiencies, minimize manual work, and drive improved data capabilities. Collaborates with Engineering leads and architects on consolidated engineering solutions for unified data quality & resolution management.

Responsibilities

• Interpret data and analyze how assets are performing across CSCP: usage, trends, gaps, internal customer feedback

• Assist on Co-ordinating with Data governance PMs to understand holistic data landscape and need for DQ to create a holistic framework to understand DQ need

• Review and organize requirements, design, validate, verify information, and identify solution options primarily to create data quality frameworks and products

• Validate solutions to meet business needs and requirements, remove blockers or barriers to adoption and realize outlined benefits

• Translate requirements between technical system/software design stakeholders to supply chain business operations subject matter experts

• Create data analysis and enable developing common data solutions for all CSCP data needs.

• Represent the DQ team in leadership forums to present roadmap, report progress and highlight key issues

• Deep dive into business process and technical details and synthesize into clear visuals for executive summary and detailed process and data flow documents to communicate at all levels

• Establish Connected and Common Data model frameworks and lay out clear options for decision making and ownership representing various stakeholder views.

• Ability to navigate highly matrixed organization to commit to deliverables, due dates, and clear accountability for action follow up

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics or related field AND 7+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, data science, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis

o OR Master's Degree in Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics or related field AND 5+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, data science, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis

o OR equivalent experience.

• 7+ years, data analytics with supply chain domain skills

• 7+ in in data management driving analytics product solutions for supply chain.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 7+ in in data management driving analytics product solutions for supply chain

• Understanding of cloud supply chain process would be an added advantage

• Good Understanding of ERP planning/management data across Master and Transactional Data modules

• Ability to understand, define and formulate business and executive metrics through connected data mechanisms

• Strong understanding of supply chain process and master data interconnects

• Proficiency to collaborate on development of Data & Business intelligence tools (Pysparc, PowerBI) proficiency

• Strong competency with business data quality implementation of data ecosystems such as data lakes, data warehouse, etc.

• Strong verbal & written communication skills, with the ability to break down complex topics into simple solutions and the ability to tell a great story that rallies all stakeholders

• Innate curiosity and ability to self-start in an ambiguous and changing environment

• Customer and data obsessed, always learning, and refining you plan to deliver user insight and maximum business impact

• A sense of personal ownership and accountability, together with the ability to manage deadlines and internal stakeholder expectations

• Develop and operationalize data/metrics (e.g., requirements to business results/outcomes)
