Description

We are seeking a competent Mid-Level Network Administrator to manage our company's computer systems and networks. This role will primarily focus on organizational networking needs and issues that might occur. The ideal candidate will possess the technical skills necessary to ensure maximum network uptime and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, maintain, and repair the company’s network infrastructure including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and other hardware.

  • Monitor network performance regularly to identify and solve technical issues before they escalate.

  • Create efficient procedures and methods for optimal network hardware and software use.

  • Implement and oversee network security measures to safeguard sensitive company data.

  • Organize and schedule network upgrades, ensuring minimal down-time.

  • Troubleshoot network-related issues reported by users.

  • Collaborate with team members to design and set up network systems that support business operations.

  • Handle all network-related documentation.

  • Carry out routine network inspections and produce activity reports.

  • Assist in training staff members and providing necessary support regarding network issues.

    Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • At least 3-5 years of experience as a Network Administrator, Systems Administrator, or in a similar role.

  • Proficiency in managing LAN, WAN, and WLAN.

  • Knowledgeable about network security systems, firewalls, intrusion detection systems.

  • Understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP), network management software, and network architecture.

  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities and high levels of attention to detail.

  • Strong knowledge in operating systems such as Windows and Linux.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Certification like CCNA, CCNP, or relevant certification is a plus.
