Robert Half Donation Coordinator in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

Description

Reporting directly to the Director of Donor Stewardship, the Donoration Coordinator will play a critical role on the stewardship team that is dedicated to supporting a growing and robust stewardship program to provide an exceptional philanthropic experience for donors at all levels. Primary responsibilities include processing contributions, assisting the development team with administrative support, and when needed, supporting onsite office operations.

Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm

Job Duties:

• Administer gift caging process which includes gift entry and acknowledgement procedures, making timely thank you calls, and sending customized donor correspondence including at the executive level.

• Provide regular reports to appropriate teams and clients related to donor giving and gifts.

• Update donor files with contact information and stewardship preferences, pass along correspondence to colleagues from donors with whom they have relationships, and respond and log interactions from donors who don’t have a relationship with a colleague.

• Provide support for a variety of donor stewardship activities including events, mailings, and giving clubs.

• Assist Vice President of Development and Director of Donor Stewardship with calendaring and departmental scheduling.

• Work closely with the office staff, providing backup support for on-site operational duties including staff events, assisting with the safety and security of the building, and engaging with vendors.

• Other duties, as assigned.

Requirements

  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy is a must.

  • Proficient at working with donor or customer databases. (Experience with Salesforce and Blackbaud desirable but not required).

  • Excellent time management, interpersonal, writing, and organizational skills.

  • Strong customer service mindset. Ability to work with all levels of internal management and staff as well as outside vendors and donors.

  • Ability to work independently and as a productive member of a team, in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with Excel and Word
