The Opportunity

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the role of the Warehouse Manager is to ensure the organisation and provision of equipment, transport, inventory and personnel to ensure that the client and business demands are met. This role is responsible for the effective and efficient management of daily tasks and sorting out issues within the Operations Department.

Core Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the maintenance, control and transport of all Encore Event Technologies stock

  • Ensure correct equipment and quantities are available to crew to execute shows effectively and maintain stock control system alongside regular stock takes to ensure losses are minimised

  • Advise on asset purchases in order to alleviate excessive x-hire expenditure

  • Assist in the co-ordination of installation projects and venue upgrades

  • Organise and co-ordinate the maintenance of company vehicles

  • Assess Operations procedures on a regular basis and make recommendations for changes or adaptations as necessary

  • Ensure effective communication is maintained between crew, venues and operations on future events

  • Local ACT & Region drives plus interstate drives into Sydney

  • Load and unload trucks and vans

Your Background

  • Previous experience in a similar role

  • High level computer skills (Word, Excel, R2, TimeTarget/HumanForce systems)

  • Financial management skills - sound understanding of cost control and budgeting

  • Proven experience working with multiple stakeholders

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Highly developed customer service skills

  • Time management skills; the ability to manage multiple and competing deadlines

  • Excellent decision making skills

  • Clean driving record

  • Safety focused
