The position is remote or hybrid based on your proximity to an office location. Buford, GA; Kansas City, KS; Denver, CO.

Position Overview 

As a PBI Analyst at AEG, you will play a pivotal role in the development and administration of BI tools. The successful candidate will be responsible for combining datasets for analysis and validation, analyzing incoming data sources to determine their value, and launching and training key stakeholders on new reporting or analysis procedures. The role will involve leveraging databases, analytics, and other data tools to manage data effectively. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Combine datasets for analysis and validation purposes. 

  • Analyze incoming data sources to determine their value and potential impact. 

  • Launch and train key stakeholders on new reporting or analysis procedures. 

  • Utilize databases, analytics, and other data tools to effectively manage data. 

  • Analyze data from various sources such as surveys, win/loss/miss records, construction schedules, etc. to uncover trends and insights. 

  • Interface with business owners to understand their data needs and requirements. 

  • Coordinate the design, development, delivery, and management of targeted communications based on data insights. 

  • Partner with other teams to promote the effective use of data across the organization. 

  • Leverage change management structures to understand the needs for report creation and data analysis. 

  • Produce accurate and pertinent reporting for internal customers. 

  • Provide overall project status through analysis, including progress, issues, dependencies, and risks. 

  • Create and automate reporting processes to streamline data analysis and reporting tasks. 

  • Translate data into meaningful insights that drive business decisions. 

  • Mine and interpret data to extract actionable insights. 

  • Undertake other projects or duties as assigned by management. 

Required Skills/Abilities 

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline preferred. 

  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst, Data Scientist, or similar role. 

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python,  etc. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities. 

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. 

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting. 

  • Knowledge of statistical techniques and methodologies. 

  • Familiarity with database management systems and data warehousing concepts. 

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 

  • Strong PowerBI skills 

  • Python and Snowflake experience a plus 

Physical Requirements  

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.  

  • May experience long hours of standing and moving.  

  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
