Job Description:

Responsibilities

The Senior Contract Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in the coordination of and/or coordinating and monitoring Bureau of Health Equity and Community Engagement community-based contracts. The incumbent will work with contractors to contribute to the development of contract work plans, deliverables, budgets, and budget modifications, identify and support additional contractor technical assistance needs. The incumbent will identify and escalate issues and concerns, as appropriate. The incumbent will prepare and review data and narrative reports; and complete writing assignments and other duties as assigned.

The Bureau of Health Equity and Community Engagement was designed to address the long-standing inequities that have systematically undermined the physical, social, economic, and emotional health of racial and ethnic minority populations and other population groups that are bearing a disproportionate burden of COVID-19.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of experience in contract coordination, contract administration or closely related experience; OR an Associate's degree in a related field and four years of such experience; OR six years of such experience. A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one year of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

At least two years of experience managing contracts, including the review of deliverable-based or cost-reimbursable budgets, and approval and tracking of vouchers. At least one year of experience supervising staff. Experience monitoring and tracking expenditures. Experience providing technical assistance to contractors through a solution focused lens. Experience with technical writing and professional communications. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated experience using Excel.

Conditions of Employment

Grant funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required.

Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Travel, up to 25% of the time, will be required.


This position requires that the incumbent will report to the official work location and live within commuting distance to the official work location. Telecommuting will be available.
