Eating Disorders

As a Northeast Comprehensive Care Center for Eating Disorders the Program Coordinator assists with managing our Project Echo educational activities such as creating and implementing training on prevention and referral programs for eating disorder patients.

REQUIREMENTS AND PREFERENCES:

  • An Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Must project a professional image, possess strong confidentiality skills, and have the ability to quickly earn the confidence of others. Must always maintain a “patient comes first” attitude.

  • Self-motivation, swift learning ability and a “can-do,” optimistic attitude is imperative.

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and have experience in and a desire to deal professionally with the public.

  • An excellent working knowledge of personal computers, word-processing and spreadsheet software (such as the Microsoft Suite) is required as well as excellent keyboarding skills. Experience with PowerPoint and Adobe Suite preferred. Experience with EMR Systems and Financial Management Software is preferred.

  • Ability to multi-task.

  • Strong problem-solving skills are required with the desire and ability to learn, investigate, and puzzle things out. Excellent interpersonal, team-building and relationship-building skills are required.

  • Must be HIPAA compliant at all times.

  • Math skills and an understanding financial terminology, definitions and application.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Administrative Support

  • Maintains staff scheduling in scheduling program, organizing time off request, seeking management assistance when needed.

  • Collects and enters Division’s census data for reporting.

  • Coordinates agenda, prepares distribution of documents and prepares minutes of Project Echo Meetings.

  • Special Projects as assigned by Management

  • Preparation and distribution of marketing materials such as Ask the Doctor, Wellness articles, school newsletters, and other school and business advertising opportunities.

Project Development and Management

  • Manage ongoing programs such as patient satisfaction surveys and training programs and be a resource for other staff and departments.

  • Maintain data on a weekly and monthly basis

  • Research and complete any project ideas or tasks that the Administrator or Practice Manager request in a timely manner or by a set deadline.

Salary Range:

$41,154.00 - $65,846.00
